Browse online and Identify the car you want to import. Ensure it is Right Hand Drive (RHD) and within the age limit allowed by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS); at the time of writing this article (2022), the car MUST have been a 2015 model or newer. Check and ensure that the exporter is a genuine exporter to avoid being conned. For instance, if importing from Japan, you can check that the exporter is a member of JUMVEA, inquire from a friend or car dealer who has imported from the company etc.
